January 2011

January's list of new things

  1. Reading every morning
  2. writing 5 things I am thankful/grateful for daily
  3. became addicted to yogi tea
  4. meditated for 10 minutes every morning for 7 days
  5. Noticed things are a bit clearer when I DO meditate...
  6. hung christmas lights in my bedroom :)
  7. started a daily dialogue/groan and forget it book
  8. made orange chicken
  9. took down the 12 years of school pictures of the boys (at work). i put them there to remind me of what i was working for, and it helped me to endure what ever came my way. since the boys are grown i am in search of filling the void...
  10. relaxing with less guilt... 
  11. seen video footage of my mothers heart AND didn't faint
  12. ate a steak and everything sandwich with my big sister and the italian place. when we were kids we would order take out, but never actually ate IN the restaurant!
  13. I about had a head on collision with a hawk carrying a rabbit in its talons! Scared the crap out of the both of us. He dropped the rabbit and some of his feathers...
